Who We Are
Transmen Collective is a community-led initiative supporting trans men and transmasculine individuals across India and South Asia. Through storytelling, advocacy, and shared experiences, we create spaces that amplify transmasculine voices and challenge dominant gender narratives. We believe that visibility is power, storytelling is resistance, and community is care.
Founded in 2017, addressing the invisibility of transmasculine individuals in social movements and policies. Rooted in the belief that every person deserves dignity, visibility, and care, TMC creates spaces for peer support, storytelling, cultural engagement, and mental health initiatives. Through programs like the Navodaya Leadership Workshop, the collective fosters solidarity, leadership, and community empowerment.
TMC collaborates with partners across research, advocacy, and policy to amplify transmasculine voices and strengthen protections for gender diversity. Through community-led initiatives, the collective works toward greater visibility, inclusion, and systemic change.
VISION
To build a world where trans men and transmasculine individuals are visible, respected, and empowered with access to affirming spaces, opportunities, and support systems. TMC envisions a future where no transmasculine person is erased from conversations, and where dignity, belonging, and community voices drive meaningful social change.
MISSION
TMC creates safe and affirming spaces for transmasculine individuals while amplifying their narratives through storytelling, media, and advocacy. The collective works to strengthen community networks, promote visibility and representation, and nurture leadership within the transmasculine community.
